1971 war a Story of GD pilot

In 1971 I got commissioned in Bangladesh air force as GD pilot at the age of 19.
On the fateful night of 25th March, 1971, the Pakistan army came out from the cantonment with fury to teach the Bangalees a lesson of their lifetime that they will never forget.
We know that “Mother and Motherland are superior to heaven. Patriotism inspired us to shed the last drop of blood to defend the freedom of our country. A man without this quality is no better than a beast.

I and my friend went to India after training few months for preparing air fight against Pakistani military. Then we back to our country with a fighter model, F-16.
In Shylet sector commander said that they are in heavy war .they couldn’t defeat because Pakistani military positioning in the banker. For that reason it was very difficult to defeat them. They want me to join in air strick. So I and my friend fly our fighter F-16 to the war zone.
When we arrived there first we circle in the sky above them to identify the Bangladeshi army position and the Pakistani banker. Then on second circle we drive 400 ft to 250 ft and we dropped three cluster bomb on the banker by terms. Later we fire our gun to Pakistani army. Then we head back to our air base.
Next day I heard that Bangladesh army able to capture the Pakistani military because when we dropped the bomb on them. Around 40 to 63 Pakistani army died and some of them injured on that spot. Those who survived they surrender to our Bangladesh army.
The great contribution of Bangladesh air force was not only that war but many war zones.
After nine months of war on 16th December we finally independent our Bangladesh.
The blood red color of the national flag bears testimony of our bloodshed struggle. The flag symbioses the green field as well as the rising sun. We also look upon it as a mark of our devotion to the noble cause of sacrificing our life for its safeguard.
